what boot will give me the same support and comfort take orthotics as 30155 herc itake a 10 w3 and what makes herc better is herc water proof
Oct 12, 2021, 03:40 PMHi Wade,
17141 is a good option but as you said not waterproof.
17102 or 17104 are both metal free and waterproof.
30156 herc in wheat is another possibility.

What is the difference in boots with model 17141 and model 17150
Nov 1, 2019, 08:46 AMHi Matt,
The only difference between these two boots is the colour. The 17141 is black and the 17150 is brown. -

does the bionic 2 , 17141 have pro dri water proof , or any kind of waterproof . tsc store has the same boot and they state it is waterproof , but I do not see that on your web site ??? Thanks in advance . I am checking out your web site , I will be buying boots soon.
Sep 30, 2019, 01:08 PMHi Leonard,
The 17141 boot is not waterproof. I have checked with the brand manager for JB Goodhue and he think's that it may be the 17176 boot that TSC has which is waterproof. -

Is the bionic 2 17141 solid black? Or is it a dark brown? Hard to tell from the pictures. Thank you in advance.
Sep 12, 2019, 09:44 AMHi Jeff,
No problem, we're sorry about that. It is solid black in colour.

JustinSep 22, 2017, 09:40 PMPretty decent boots and fit comfortably; I work in the commercial truck industry and these boots have only lasted a year and are coming apart at the toe and a few other seams. The tread also packs up badly near the heel in muddy terrain which is pretty inconvenient sometimes. The traction was pretty good over oil and such but not great on ice and snow. The insulation is also not bad but I live where the winters reach - 35°C and they didn't keep my feet too toasty even with high end socks underneath. The rocker technology is awesome and I noticed a significant difference in effort when walking compared to a boot without this feature. Overall, this review is not intended to bash these boots because they're definitely respectable and fit and work better than most brands I've worn, the intent is to inform potential buyers that depending on what sort of work you do and where you do that work, these boots may not be as tough (or warm) as you need.
